Chris Lang was the head of the Restructuring Practice in a large accounting firm and has consulted on business restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and operational and financial strategies since 2000. He works with investors, C- level executives, and others on major business repositioning and growth initiatives.
Over the course of his career, he has worked on transactions involving private equity investment, corporate finance, secured lending, restructuring and turnaround, direct investors, corporate recapitalization, and capitalization. His experience includes financial and operational initiatives worth a combined $2.5 billion with a focus on the private equity, hospitality, real estate, banking, trucking,
manufacturing, and oil services industries.
Prior to joining the large accounting firm, Mr. Lang held CEO, CRO, CFO, and additional roles in which he focused on operational and turnaround strategy. He was also a consultant to a large public company where he focused on change management and operational efficiency improvement. Prior experience includes leading an oil field services company to profitability through depressed market
conditions, Chapter 11 bankruptcy, and 363 sale to a strategic buyer; leading the restructuring / sale of a manufacturer to private equity investors; leading and managing the acquisition and integration of eight mid-sized regional competitors for a mid-market manufacturer and distributor after their exit from bankruptcy.
Mr. Lang is a native of Texas and currently resides in Dallas, Texas. He holds a BBA and MBA from Drake University.
